Well, after another night of hrm, another idea of mine becoming a product. I have books, napkins, 3×5 index cards full of ideas. Each one of them, good enough to get started, yet 6 months, 1 year, even 2 … it becomes a product, time and time again. Today I came across the WildCharge on gizmodo today and said, &@&@^ thats my idea. Its so simple and elegant. Its uses simple basic electronics any and every electrical engineer should know. This way you can “wirelessly” transmit power, within a close range.
About 2 years ago at a IEEE meeting, we had one of the builders of the Segway come to our school and speak. He discussed various projects he has built and worked on. After his talk it got me thinking of ideas. You should pike the simplest thing like charging a battery, and making it just that much different so everyone and their mom would want one.
For example, the self recharging flash light. All it is is a coil and a magnet and an LED. You can make one of these yourself in a mater of minutes. Even my buddy chris over at tearsoffire.org created a solar pendulum which is a magnet, a solar panel, and a coil. (a couple of little parts, but very very simple and easy to build)
It just drives me nuts that all these ideas I think of come true or should come true. From this I conclude that the current projects I am working on need to get DONE ASAP! I am going to be spending a lot of time the next few weekends pumping out as much code as possible. My teacher always told me to build 2… because the first one sucks. Well plan on it. I will get it “functional” but I am not a designer, I am a outside the box thinker/coder!
Well this has turned into a bit of a rant, but I will be posting some of my “upcoming” stories so you can at least see what I will be discussing in the future. I also plan to post some small grants for projects. Since many of my ideas have been coming true, I want to try and beat them to the race.
Each month or week I will be posting 1 idea of mine and either sponsoring it myself or though an invenstor. I figure if all of these ideas come true, its just getting it out before someone else does. So expect some details of the website/project, and if you are intersted you can either join in and “share” or possibly be rewared with monitary compensation. I have not figured out all the details, but I figure once I do, my site will be dugg.

Dude. I had a web idea about two years ago. I never ended up going through with it. I saw a report on CNN last night (still on today) that was talking about a website doing the same damn thing. If only I actually made it way back when, I’d be working for myself fulltime and very rich. Good thing I made VTRides.com instead. Fuck.
