The real iPhone images have posted, Steve has given his keynote, and the Apple bubble has …. burst!
At first I was like everyone, WOW an iPhone, FINALLY! Its stylish, thin, very colorful, but lacks… functionality. I am the first to admit, running a shell os x and safari is awesome, but no 3g, removable battery, and umm itunes sync, duh!
Apple always has visions, but why build an iPhone if you can’t download and buy songs on iTunes! iTunes + iPhone would make LOTS OF PEOPLE iHAPPY!
Don’t get me wrong, I am a mac addict. I am planning on buying at least 3 new Apple computers within the next 2 months. But this iPhone is a iFlop. Apple has been showing off their products, what 6 months before we can “buy” it. Steve Jobs is creating a buzz around his product and putting a waiting period so his stock can go up again in 6 months. (Time to buy some shares). The lack of a removable battery (what cellphone does not have a removable battery), only touch keypad, (MDA users, you know what I mean, IT SUCKS!), and the fact that its ONLY Cingular, I mean At&t.
I have been reading lots of posts and reviews of the iPhone, but still want a REAL video IPOD with more then 8gb of storage. I might as well just buy a modbook and watch DVDs and use the newton technology.
Please comment and tell me what you think of the iPhone and why the iPhone is not an iFlop

i was personally excited to see it sporting a multitouch display and i like the idea of it being one giant user-interface. it’s going to take a while for people to get used to having no mechanical feedback on the ‘keys’ - even pdas offer a little since the touchscreen flexs ever so slightly.
still if you can’t open it you don’t own and i’m not going to spend $400 on an iPhone.
