Yep! I gave in and picked up a 20in iMac for my mom (for Mother’s Day) and set her up with a del.icio.us account. I can now save links for her as well as her save them for me. I complained about this a while back and was thinking of creating my own tag MOM for social browsing or to use a RSS Feed that emailed her the links via email. This would have worked great, but its still one way communications. Every now and again my mom has a cool link ( yea she reads digg… imagine that!), so to all you who don’t have a del.icio.us account…. GET ONE, My MOM EVEN HAS ONE!
I still would like to see groups on del.icio.us rather then just tags. This way I could create a private group for some of my friends and with 1 tag send it out to all. Sometimes I just want a few to see the link, but other times I want everyone. I also found del.icio.us to be great at sending messages about the link, using the description. Its a great way to send something funny or to make announcements.
