I thought I was in a horror movie this weekend. As I previously posted, I took a trip to Ogdensburg, NY to take some video and photographs of some Subaru’s on the SLMP track. I left NYC at 8:20am and arrived in Boston at 12:30. From there i meet up with Bob and cruised up to VT by 5:30ish. We grabbed some Switchback (amazing beer in Burlington, VT) and wings at RJs. (RJs gives out FREE wings 5 too 9pm on Fridays, a must for the college kid and will missed by that kid inside me.) After we meet up with some others, we started the drive up to O town. We arrived at the hotel we have stayed at before around midnight, but this time, NO ONE WAS THERE! It was just everyone who was going to race at the track, no other guest were there. It was totally freaky and the guy behind the front desk (who must have been cracked out of his mind) was the only other person THERE! Ugh, I have been going hard this week on less sleep, but I HAD to sleep. The TV was blazing loud and yet no one in the room wanted to get up to turn it off. It’s a funny thing now, but that night was just insane.
With a quick trip to the BK lounge we drive to SLMP and started to have some fun. The weekend was packed with other excitement and in the end it was a great time with some great stories. I just finished the video I put together of the race weekend.
