Well the cat is out of the bag and I am no longer with Mophie. It was a great experience working with them and working on illuminator, but I am moving on now.
I will now be focusing all my energy towards a true startup. I have plenty of ideas and need to pick one. Maybe I should just put each idea on a small piece of paper and post it on the wall and throwing a dart. (ha! j/k)
I think over the next two weeks I will grind them down and focus on one and only one that I can turn a profit relatively quickly as well as limit my time to 1 specific project, no multitask. I want to get at least 1 product/website/widget out the door ASAP, something I have been putting off for way way too long. I have recently broke down most of my ideas into phases and predicted a rate of ROI of each idea depending on the estimated time it would take to go from idea to prototype to product. I have also been researching some VC events and plan on trying to get into them. (VCs who read this, contact me so we can chat)
Again, I wish everyone at Mophie the best and who knows maybe are path will cross again. Until then, I will be doing what I have been talking about and waiting to do since I was able to talk… build a startup! Not just any company like a pc repair, computer consulting company aka my … Nomad Thinking, LLC, but a real startup with focus on a idea rather then a service.
