Are you a del.icio.us addict like me? What about a flickr addict? Well lets take the best ideas of the both of them and combined them, welcome to ffffound (And thats no typo!)
So what exactly is Fffound? Their about states “Ffffound a web service that not only allows the users to post and share their favorite images found on the web, but also dynamically recommends each user’s tastes and interests for an inspirational image-bookmarking experience!!”
Although Ffffound is still in private beta (I think they are on a fast course to get it up and out to the public. This site is gonna boom due to the fact of using current sites like flickr as well as offering ways for Professional Photographers to get noticed because each link posted on Ffffound links back to the original image! Their design/layout is very very basic if not existing, much like del.icio.us. I think this is a good idea, but the fact is flickr is still nice to browse. I would like to see a bit more design, but the bare bones look does over that “faster browsing” time which I enjoy. (I am not one to spend an hour looking at a picture, or even 5 minutes. ha!) I think this is a great idea and a way to organize all those awesome pics you see on the net.
So get out your SLR and start capturing and when Ffffound launches, you will be sure to view/post up some pics that get some attention!
