Okay, so I admit it, I am a white guy who enjoys listing to rap music. So watching some Rap videos, in this case a Jay Z song, I noticed instead of US dollars, they have Euros. (I guess this made the actually news like CNBC, which I refuse to watch). Anyway, I just finished watching the video and find it very funny that even in a rap music video, they do NOT use US Dollars, its like the US Dollar is not even worth it to be in a music video!
So the pic above is a clip from the music video below, this just screams get rid of your US Dollars. Invest, Now! As Robert says cash is trash, we need to stop investing in paper or put it into “savings”, the US Dollar is worth nothing, invest in Gold and Silver! I know I will be! The other point I want to make on this topic is the fact that our US dollar is not even backed by Gold or Silver. I wouldn’t get into the concept of how you can create more US dollars from nothing, but just look at asking for your credit cards to raise your limit, if they do and you max out your credit card. Boom! You just created more US dollars in our economy. It’s a crazy thing money, but seriously, how funny is it that the US Dollar is taken out of a Rap Music Video!

Not sure if Jay-Z is making an economic statement. For sure, though, €500 notes are flashier than $100 bills…plus, have you ever tried to carry more than $5,000 or so in US currency? We could use $500 bills.
