Have you tried Hulu Desktop? It’s an Adobe Air app from Hulu Labs that is just incredible for surfing around their different channels. I run it on my PC in the living room (which is mirrored to my TV via dual-display), and I control it with a little wireless keyboard from my couch.

What about the news of HULU going to a paid service?

The other issue I have with Hulu is that the shows I do like to watch don’t hit Hulu until like 8 days after it aired… by then I forgot about it and don’t watch

Hey thanks again John. I watched two programs on Hulu today for the first time ever. Macheads the documentary and the history channels Universe Episodes on the Sun. Classic times. Much respect. Keep us posted.

My roommate and I decided to cancel our cable about a year ago and I don’t miss it. I got myself a Roku which links to Netflix, Amazon video, and more (e.g. they now have mlb live for baseball fans). When we want to watch current TV there’s always Hulu or any number of other websites which allow you to watch shows even the day after they air. I just can’t see the point in paying for cable ever again.
