I especially like this comment you make: “The funny thing about perfection is you can actually be better if you stop shooting for it.”

That is so hard for people to understand. Aiming for perfection is usually a way of making sure you never get it, as you so rightly say.

I only know a couple of millionaires (maybe 3) and they were all the same. Launch it now and fix it as we go.

I know a lot of broke people who are waiting for ‘the right moment’ to try to make some money. Think there’s any correlation?

Launching pure junk isn’t a good idea, but as soon as a product, service or idea is ‘good enough’ then it should be launched. I believe there was a mantra at Microsoft a while back – “shipping is a feature too”. As you say in your other post, Microsoft made a lot of money and Bill Gates is now doing a lot of good with it. If he’d never shipped his software he wouldn’t have made as much. And how many times have we all seen patches to fix problems with Microsoft software?
