Okay, so I admit it, I am a white guy who enjoys listing to rap music. So watching some Rap videos, in this case a Jay Z song, I noticed instead of US dollars, they have Euros. (I guess this made the actually news like CNBC, which I refuse to watch). Anyway, I just finished watching the video and find it very funny that even in a rap music video, they do NOT use US Dollars, its like the US Dollar is not even worth it to be in a music video!

So the pic above is a clip from the music video below, this just screams get rid of your US Dollars. Invest, Now! As Robert says cash is trash, we need to stop investing in paper or put it into “savings”, the US Dollar is worth nothing, invest in Gold and Silver! I know I will be! The other point I want to make on this topic is the fact that our US dollar is not even backed by Gold or Silver. I wouldn’t get into the concept of how you can create more US dollars from nothing, but just look at asking for your credit cards to raise your limit, if they do and you max out your credit card. Boom! You just created more US dollars in our economy. It’s a crazy thing money, but seriously, how funny is it that the US Dollar is taken out of a Rap Music Video!

Enjoy!

If you are a fan of the Daily Show, Colbert Report, or almost any TV program, you know the writers are on strike. Well I have been trying to to TIO (Turn It Off) my TV that is, and focus on more important things. I used to find myself turning on my TV to relax or to see something fun, but with this strike I have had to resort to online for my “entertainment”. I know I should be following Tim and his views of asking wait staff, but I enjoy really enjoy political satire. Anyway, I saw this on youtube and thought I should post it up.So for those wondering what the writers are doing while on strike, this should give you an idea. Enjoy!

Well I have been meaning to post a couple of reviews of recent purchases like my prius and my aeron. I also have a couple of books I read that I need to post up on the geek guru book club. I am currently trying to get some code out the door and launch something! Ugh, so many things so little time.

Oh, and for those people who are still reading, stop by again, like next week and I will have a couple more posts.

Since I am a newsjunkie at heart and always reading some weird, funny or odd story I figured I would post up some.

As many “Faithful” people know last Wednesday was Ash Wednesday the start of lent.
A church in New Mexico got a bit more then a time to give up something. CNN reports Police blow up foul-mouthed CDs that blared in Church. It looks liike 3 CD Players were hidden under the pews blasting explicit lyrics and sexual content. The chuch members removed the CD players and called the Police. The Police called in the Bomb Squad. (Are you serious?!?! No, it gets better) After the Bomb Squad blew up 2 of the CD players, they plan to test the third for “fingerprints or DNA”. This just reminds me of the famous summer of Sex for Sam (Thanks O and A!)

Video Games have always been a part of my generation, but they are now growing to other more “older” generations. As many of you know I had to Social Engineer a Wii only to receive the Wii Elbow from all that intensive playing. The DailyTech is reporting that Wii Invades Retirement Home. Yes our Grandparents are playing the same video games that our generation and younger generations are enjoying. Nintendo has build a video game system that is now for ALL AGES. Its funny to think that people at a retirement home are not only using the Wii for exercise but also for social interactions among residents. I think it is time to start getting some Wii Bowling shirts and hosting a Grandparent, Grandchild Wii Sport Event! Who’s with me?

I am in the process of forming my own consulting company and looking for small and large jobs. I normally spend a couple of minutes a day quickly going through cragislist for Computer Gigs.

Today I came across 2 that took me off guard. I saw some student from Columbia wanting to pay $30 for a 3 hour Tutor on how to pwn on CS(Counter-Strike).

CS is a multiplayer online first person shooter. I spent a couple of weeks playing this online about a year ago. I have not seen a posting for “help” for this game in terms of “pwning”. I do not think this post on craigslist is “fake”, but I do think some n00bies who dies a lot gets frustrated and want to pwn others who kill him.

While continuing with my review of Gigs, I also found a cool job at 2k. Playtest BioShock and get a free 2k game of your choice. So for 3 days of your time, you get a 2k game of your choice. Maybe if I had free time I would jump on it, but I my time is getting close to the cost of the game. Especially 3 days, then it would be worth my time to just to buy it.
Anyway, I know there people who read this blog, maybe then need a new game and are still looking for work.

Enjoy!
